Ernst Jorgensen deserves… a big giant THANK YOU!
And THANK YOU, Ernst, for all your hard work and dedication. I really appreciate all that you do.
Just like you posted … “I’ve got a lot of reading and listening to do!”
I’m looking forward to this weekend… Strictly “A Boy From Tupelo”
Looking forward to the review as well.
Hah, me, too! I’m not even sure where I will begin when I get to that stage.
Right now, I’m still slowly working my way through the book, with the CDs serving as the soundtrack.
I thought take a short moment to say, I’ve read a lot of reviews, but I’d say probably one of the best…”The most striking thing for me is that Elvis is clearly having a blast on the road, chilling out, doing every day things. This is Elvis before the image, this is Elvis before the mask of fame. His smiles are genuine, his goofing around is as one of the guys, not as the guy that all the other guys hang around with. The sheer volume of content paints this picture like never before. I look forward to absorbing this one.”
So, of course, I had to figure out whose review you quoted. Some sleuthing revealed it was that of Matthew on the FECC forum – one of my favorite posters, particularly when it comes to reviewing & debating music.
Here’s his full post, folks: Re: GOT IT!!!! BOY FROM TUPELO !!!.
Got mine from a good friend of mine who bought it for me! The best book I’ve ever seen in a very looong time!!
Well, it’s certainly the largest! One of these days I’ll wrap my head around how to review this project. Thanks for commenting.
