Next month marks the third anniversary of The Mystery Train Blog leaving the station to begin this journey. Since that time, I’ve written many posts about the music of Elvis Presley. One topic I’ve barely touched, however, is his movie career.
To make up for this, I’m starting a new series – the “Elvis Movie Of The Quarter.” During each three-month span, I will devote several posts to examining various aspects of a specific Elvis movie.
This will also be a chance for you to help steer the train. Of the 33 Elvis movies released during his lifetime, which do you want covered first?
Submit your nominations for the Elvis Movie Of The Quarter in the comments below. Only one nomination per person, please. I’ll close out the comments once three different films have been nominated. Next week, we’ll hold a vote to make the final determination.

GOOD IDEA ELVIS MOVIE OF THE QUARTER. MY SUGGESTION IS KING CREOLE.
Live A Little, Love A Little…more adult themed for Elvis. I also love Girl Happy because it is such stupid fun…(and I have a crush on Shelly Fabares)…
The movie……..’Follow That Dream’.
Wild in the Country – but there’s so much to choose from!
…and there’s our
threefour nominations, folks! Get ready to vote next week. My thanks to the nominators.
