Oh beautiful,
For spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountains, majesty,
Above the fruited plains,
America, America,
God shed His grace on thee,
And He crowns thy good,
With brotherhood,
From sea to shining sea
–From “America The Beautiful,” Elvis Presley song, 1975 (written by Katharine Lee Bates & Samuel Ward)

Thanks, George. I had a great ol’ time on the Fourth… doing nothing! Mostly just did my best to stay cool in the house. Been riding a heatwave here. Hope yours was good, too.

Welcome aboard the train, Clementine! I always hear Elvis when I read the lyrics to that particular song – one of the first Elvis songs I can ever remember hearing.
